This Preorder Policy applies to products on our webshop nightskyoptics.eu that are marked as preorder or backorder. These are products that are not in our warehouse when you order them, such as newly released products, products the manufacturer allocates in limited numbers, limited production runs and supplier backorders. Please always read this policy together with our Terms and Conditions, which form the legal basis of every order.
The payment terms for a preorder or backorder are shown at checkout, before you place your order. We will ask full payment in advance using one of the payment methods available on the webshop. In that case the agreement only comes into effect once we have received your payment, as stated in the Terms and Conditions. We confirm by email as soon as we have received it.
Preorder and backorder products can take 3 to 6 months to deliver. We state this longer delivery time on the product page and at checkout. By placing the order you expressly agree to such a delivery time.
Availability dates for preorder products are estimates from manufacturers and suppliers, and they can change. Delays can be caused by production problems, component shortages, transport delays or customs procedures. These causes are outside our control. We do our best to inform you of significant changes to the expected availability date.

The price confirmed when you order is the price you pay. Later price changes by the manufacturer or on the webshop do not affect a confirmed order. Only in the case of an obvious pricing mistake we may refuse or cancel the order, as described in the Terms and Conditions. In that case we refund everything you paid in full.
Changed your mind? You may withdraw from a preorder or backorder at any time before delivery and up to 14 days after delivery, without giving a reason. Our Return Policy explains how.
Exception. There is no right of withdrawal for products made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as equipment built to order. Where this applies, we say so on the product page and at checkout, before you order.
We may cancel a preorder, in whole or in part, if the manufacturer cancels or stops production, if the product can no longer be supplied, in the case of an obvious pricing mistake, or if legal restrictions prevent the sale or delivery. We then inform you without delay and refund everything you paid, including any advance payment, within 14 days. We refund through the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree to another method.
We do our best to keep you informed of significant delays. You can also ask for a status update of your preorder at any time via info@nightskyoptics.eu.
