Dall-Kirkham

Designed for exceptional sharpness and contrast, Dall-Kirkham reflectors are precision instruments well suited to detailed observation of the Moon and planets. Their combination of a concave ellipsoidal primary mirror and convex spherical secondary mirror provides excellent on-axis performance in a compact optical system, making them a popular choice for demanding visual observers and astrophotographers.
