NITECORE Rechargeable Headlamp with Red-Light (NU43)

The NITECORE NU43 is a versatile headlamp designed to provide reliable hands-free illumination throughout an observing session, while keeping night vision preservation at the forefront. Its dedicated red-light button gives you direct access to red light without having to cycle through bright white modes, reducing the risk of accidentally illuminating your surroundings and losing your dark adaptation.

With multiple red-light levels, the NU43 provides controlled illumination for checking equipment, reading charts and moving around your observing area. When brighter illumination is needed, its powerful white-light output makes it easy to navigate your surroundings and, most importantly, pack away your telescope and accessories at the end of the night without leaving anything behind.

Despite its capabilities, the NU43 remains lightweight and comfortable to wear, with an adjustable headband that provides a secure fit during long observing sessions. Its built-in rechargeable battery and USB-C charging make it convenient to keep ready for use, while the battery indicator lets you check your remaining power before heading outside.

For astronomers who spend long nights in the field, the NU43 offers a dependable combination of dedicated red-light operation, comfortable hands-free use and the additional illumination needed when the session is over. It is a particularly good choice when you want more capability and power than a compact observing headlamp can provide.
